Traditional Handicrafts Village YUNOKUNI no MORI

This theme park contains more than 50 kinds of traditional art works displayed in 11 pavilions. Recently, not only Japanese, but also foreigners have been taking an interest in them. In this park, you can experience creations from Kaga (present-day Ishikawa prefecture), traditional arts such as pottery, painting, paper-making, and so on. As the specialized on-site craftsmen will kindly teach you how to participate in these activities, even beginners will be able to take part. There is also an art gallery and a museum containing many interesting exhibits including antique music boxes, folk handicrafts for daily life, and pottery. English, Chinese and Korean brochures are available.
