Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum, Takarazuka
Japanese manga (cartoons) and animation are gaining
popularity worldwide. This memorial hall exhibits
famous works related to Osamu TEZUKA, who is known
as the god of manga and animation. His manga characters
such as Astro Boy and Ribbon Knight will welcome you.
You can enjoy a whole day here enjoying the hi-vision
theater which shows original animation, the “Information/Animation
Search Engine,” where you can see Tezuka’s
animations, and the “Animation Studio,”
where you can experience animation production. Osamu
Tezuka spent his early years here in Takarazuka from
the age of 5 years until he was 24-years-old. Takarazuka
is also famous as the hometown of The Takarazuka Revue.
