Method
Kobe Toyo Japanese College was established in order
to give you the training and ability to develop your
future potential. Our experienced staff offers total
support to our students, responding to your requests
with flexible ideas. For example, with our course
in Eastern Medicine, we can provide help to those
who plan to continue study in the medical field. We
also support those who intend to study at universities
in Japan or work for Japanese companies.
Lesson Features
There are a lot of opportunities to speak in a class
because the number of students in a class is small.
The program involves not only studying in a class
environment, but also emphasizing the building of
communication skills which can be used in any situation
by doing activities and project work. Also the project
work leads to the gaining of skills that can be expressed
in Japanese.
About Activity
Traditional Japanese cultural experiences such as
origami (paper folding), tea ceremony wearing yukata,
flower arranging, Bunraku appreciation and calligraphy
are also held. We also hold other activities such
as annual event such as the annual Star Festival,
the harvest moons festival in mid autumun and Setsubun,
and we arrange participation in festivals throughout
the year. There are also cultural festivals, sports
festivals, picnics and a social visits to organizations,
etc/ for fun, social experience and research. |

An
international view can be acquired by making the best
use of not only daily exchange with Japanese students
at the medical treatment school established as an annex,
but also the advantage of being part of a multinational
class at our college. You can happily acquire natural
Japanese in the beautiful setting of Kobe while meeting
various people in extracurricular activities and through
the exchange association. Our staff can improve your
skills, and are waiting for your visit us in Kobe. (Principal
Hirosada Kawamura) |
As
there are not as many people in Kobe as there are
in Tokyo, Kobe is an easy and kind place for foreigners
to live. I think that it is a very good environment
to study Japanese. There is not only study in the
classroom, but also a class that involves speaking
with quite a large number of Japanese people. I seriously
think the practice is very useful so that our Japanese
skills may progress though I sometimes want to skip
the class (because it is sometimes very tough for
me.) Teachers and the classmates are kind and we can
enjoy various cultures from various countries. (Taiwan/Female)
