Thanks to the Hiragana Times I could marry.

Iam from Myanmar (formerly called Burma). When I started to learn Japanese I read the Hiragana Times and loved it. I tried to find friends in the Hiragana Times Hello Station section and became friendly with many people. My Japanese was
improving and I was happy.

In 2002, I wanted to marry a Japanese speaking man and placed an introductory message in Hello Station. I met many new friends and eventually met and married a Spanish man who liked the Hiragana Times.

As I am from Myanmar, I can only speak Burmese and Japanese which I am now learning. My husband is Spanish and cannot speak my language so we com
municate in Japanese while living in Kyoto.
