A Quietly Popular Guest-oriented Inn in Tango, Kyoto

Kyoto City, where you can see Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kiyomizu Temple, is not all of Kyoto. Tango, two or three hours by train from Kyoto and Osaka on the Japan Sea coast, is another side of Kyoto known to travelers. A guest-oriented inn in Tango, Jukaitei is gaining a quiet popularity. They take only eight parties per day, and all rooms are equipped with an ocean-viewing cypress bath, a washroom and a toilet, from where you can enjoy a splendid view of the Japan Sea. You can enjoy local fish and crab dishes using freshly-caught seafood. The containers they use include those selected by the okami (owner’s wife and the inn manager) herself.
