The special exhibition “Smiling in Contemplation: Two Buddhas from Japan and Korea” will be held between June 21 and July 10 at the Japanese Gallery of the Tokyo National Museum (Ueno, Tokyo). This event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the normalization of relations between Japan and Korea. Each is representative of that countries’ Pensive Bodhisattava figure and the two will be displayed side by side. Same day ticket for the general public: 1,000 yen.
