“KYOTOGRAPHIE: Kyoto International Photography Festival 2016” is held in Kyoto City from April 23 to May 22. The theme for the fourth edition of this international photography festival is “Circle of Life.” The festival features 15 venues unique to Kyoto including temples and warehouses. The past three festivals have been well received attracting approximately 157,000 visitors.

Admission: 400 to 1,000 yen.
Some venues are free of charge.
Passport: 2,000-3,200 yen.
