Three Million Daffodils to Enjoy

The “Daffodil Festival” will be held between December 20 and February 10 in Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The entire cape will be covered with three million white daffodils. Weather permitting, an “open-air market” will be held every day of the festival. The local dish “Ikendani Miso Pot” (simmered seafood and seaweed flavored with miso) will be available for free to the first 200 visitors on special event days and it will also be possible to enjoy Shimoda drumming here.
