Enjoying Mt. Fuji and a Carpet of Moss Phlox

“Fuji Shibazakura (Moss Phlox) Festival” will be held during April and May at Fuji Motosuko Resort (Fujikawaguchiko town, Yamanashi Prefecture). Spread around the site, from which Mt. Fuji is visible, are 800,000 flowering moss pholox plants. This year an observation platform has been built. You can enjoy viewing the flowers from the “Observation Cafe.” Other flowers like anemones and azaleas can be enjoyed alongside local delicacies like yoshida-udon and fujinomiya-yakisoba.

From April 18 to May 31.
Dates may change according to the condition of the blooms.
Entrance fee for adults (junior high school students and over): 520 yen.
