Understanding the Future through the History of Space Exploration

“SPACE EXPO 2014 – The Great Challenge of NASA/JAXA” will be held at Makuhari Messe (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) from July 19 to September 23. The history of NASA’s manned space exploration, including the Apollo moon landing, will be presented. Also on display will be JAXA’s (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) space exploration initiatives, including the “Hayabusa” spacecraft. On display for the first time outside of the United States, one of the highlights will be a life-size model of the original Curiosity Mars Rover.
